Aircraft Seat Upholstery Specialist

A Commercial Aircraft Seat Specialist with stitching expertise plays a key role in the refurbishment repair and customization of passenger aircraft seating for both wide‑body and narrow‑body aircraft. This role typically resides within an MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) organization and requires advanced skills in stitching, trimming, upholstery, and material handling to ensure airworthiness and passenger comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair and refurbish aircraft seats and seat components for narrow‑ and wide‑body commercial aircraft (e.g. A320, B737, A350, B777).
• Perform detailed stitching, sewing and upholstery of seat covers using leather fabric and synthetic materials.
• Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA regulations and OEM specifications.
• Read and interpret seat drawings, repair manuals and technical documentation.
