**Description:** This occupation requires the complete layout, cutting, fabricating, assembling and installing aircraft trim parts, vehicle seat covers, chair pads, aircraft and plant equipment coverings, curtains, tire, propeller and engine covers, boots, etc. Plans and makes the original layouts (pattern development) and develops information for changes in Engineering sketches and drawings resulting from trim operations. Works from incomplete engineering information. Fabricates and assembles samples, basis and exterior trim thereof for those complex trim items, such as seats, chairs, divans, davenports and drapes, etc., that demand the full exercise of the varied skills of the upholstering craft.
