Position Summary

As part of the AJISS Coastal Support team, the Technical Specification Writer will support the Royal Canadian Navy Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPV) and Joint Support Ship (JSS) class vessels managed by Thales under the AOPS & JSS In-Service Support (AJISS) contract. Accountable to the Resource Manager – Coastal Support but responsive to the Coastal Engineering Services Manager, the Technical Specification Writer supports the Service Delivery and Engineering teams with writing specifications and Statement of Work (SOWs) for corrective maintenance for various systems equipment. This includes ensuring that Class Societies and objective quality evidence (OQE), amongst others, are duly captured.
