What is the opportunity?

The role is part of North American and European Ops monitoring and processing of Corporate Action Events for RBC Capital Markets security trading businesses and clients. It ensures events are captured, reconciled, monitored and funded where required, acting as first line of defense to trading businesses and maintaining accurate books for seamless client experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all daily tasks and controls are completed in line with departmental PRIMA maps and procedures.
• Assist the Team Manager and Department Head on projects, process improvements, and new business initiatives.
• Continue to develop product and market knowledge to reduce operational risks.
• Escalate unusual behavior or processing issues to the Team Manager or above following the Operations Escalation Policy.
• Understand and locate central RBC policies and ensure PRIMA maps and procedures are up to date.
