Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Department Head, the Analyst I will be responsible for providing technical support and analysis within the Chemistry Testing Laboratory. This is a deadline-based, high-pressure work environment with ongoing projects for a variety of clients. The Analyst I will work independently with minimal supervision and interact with customers and staff in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample preparation.
• Mobile phase preparation.
• Documentation: ensuring accurate reporting in lab books.
• Handling of instruments.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years working with chemistry techniques; experience with NHPs, pharmaceuticals, or consumer products; contract laboratory experience is an asset.
• Education: A B. Sc. degree preferably in Chemistry; a solid background in Chemistry is mandatory.
