Job Description

As part of a team of Underwriters, you will be responsible for performing a range of core credit activities, including:

Conduct thorough new credit assessments and periodic re‑assessments by performing robust quantitative and qualitative analysis of Shell’s counterparties. This includes evaluating financial strength and recommending appropriate credit ratings, limits, and terms.

Support day‑to‑day credit operations within the Trading & Supply Credit function by delivering timely and reliable service. This is critical to minimizing risk exposure, supporting the deal lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with the established credit control framework.

This role spans a wide range of Shell’s business lines, including Inland Trading (formerly Global Supply and Commercial Fuels), as well as Gas & Power, Crude & Products, and others. As such, it offers significant variety and the opportunity to directly influence commercial outcomes.
