Job Description

Participates as a member of the Anesthesia Care Team by performing pre-operative and intra-operative tasks for the patient having procedures requiring anesthesia. Assists licensed anesthesia care provider with patient assessments, evaluations, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines and routine difficult intubation/extubation. Responsible for maintenance and set-up of anesthesia and performs ancillary lab tests.

Job Responsibility

+ Assists anesthesia professional staff as requested, as well as assists in invasive monitoring line insertion, pulmonary artery catheter insertion, central venous access, fiberoptic intubation, and/or difficult airway situations.
