The Wiikwemkoong Anishinaabe Aadiziwin Nakiigamig is seeking four (4) Anishinaabemaat Childcare Providers to work within Mooshkin Anishinaabemowin Gamig (MAG), an immersion home-based childcare program.
The Anishinaabemaat Childcare Provider is responsible for the supervision, care, and overall well-being of infants, toddlers, and children within each MAG location. The successful candidate will support the delivery of planned curriculum and daily program activities, including structured learning opportunities and supervised free play within designated programming areas.
Working within an Anishinaabemowin language immersion environment, the Childcare Provider will guide and encourage the physical, social, emotional, creative, and cognitive development of children through culturally grounded programming, positive interaction, and age-appropriate activities that reflect Anishinaabe values, language, and ways of learning.
