Job Title: Applications Engineer
The Applications Engineer serves as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and engineering teams, designing and quoting custom mechanical/workholding solutions while ensuring they are technically sound, cost-effective, safe, and aligned with customer and business objectives.
Develop engineered solutions and quotations by analyzing customer requirements, designing custom workholding/tooling solutions, and preparing detailed proposals, cost estimates, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Provide technical expertise and customer support by collaborating with sales teams and customers, conducting technical presentations, and recommending solutions that fit customer applications and manufacturing capabilities.
Perform mechanical design and CAD work using SolidWorks or similar software to create concept drawings, engineering calculations, and detailed designs while maintaining engineering documentation.
