Our client is an established name in the film/TV industry who specializes in creating sets for game shows, TV productions, and small film projects. We are seeking a smart and eager Apprentice Carpenter to join our client’s operation, located in Northridge.

This is an entry-level position in professional set design. As the Apprentice Carpenter, you will be responsible for working with the scene designer, project coordinator, and other specialists to help assemble these sets.

You will:

·Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and set pieces from the studio to the trucks

·Utilize hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble lumber, plywood, and other materials to construct the set pieces

·Analyze the blueprints and schematics from the art department to make sure everything comes out correctly.
