The Position
As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work under the direction of the Site Superintendent. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Operation of hand/power toolsKnowledge in concrete forming, rebar placing and rebar tyingAbility to perform manual labour, Project tasks as assigned, carry materials, tools, and equipmentProper care and attention of company tools and equipmentPrepare work areas for subtradesPhysical endurance being able to lift 50lbs at a timeGood interpersonal/communication skills when working with sub trades and other team membersGood understanding of safety policies, safe work practices and safe job proceduresMust be willing to work in variable climatic conditions Qualifications & Skills
