As a Civil Engineering Apprentice, you will play an active role in delivering transport projects across South Gloucestershire. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will help develop schemes that improve road safety, reduce congestion and create more sustainable and accessible travel options for residents, including enhanced routes for buses, pedestrians and cyclists.

The StreetCare Traffic Management Design team, who are responsible for the detailed design, consultation and construction of traffic and transport projects in South Gloucestershire. In contrast, the Assess and Decide team focuses on designing proposals by assessing and investigating requests for various highway improvements. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across both teams, developing your technical knowledge and practical skills and building a strong foundation for a career in civil engineering.
