Description
:Seminar in African History: African Nationalisms and Pan-Africanism.
This seminar explores the history of nationalism and Pan-Africanism from the middle of the 20th-century onward. It considers the interconnected nature of the movements that aimed at liberating African people from colonial rule and securing self-determination. It also examines the evolving confluences and tensions that emerged amidst mobilization for unity and solidarity alongside the emergence of sovereign nation-states.
