Water and Wastewater Plant Operator – Jasper National Park, AB
Job type: Fixed term contract, Temporary, Seasonal, Full-time.
Pay: $24–$34 per hour.
Avg. 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities.
Term of employment: April – October, with possibility of extension or full‑time work.
Shift and schedule: Overtime based on demands.
Location: Jasper, Alberta – water and wastewater facilities within Jasper National Park, within 100 km of Jasper.
Responsibilities
- Operate plant equipment safely.
- Set and monitor chemical feed rates.
- Monitor collection and distribution systems.
- Monitor instrumentation and process controls.
- Perform water quality tests and report findings to operations management.
- Update and maintain documentation, logs, and records.
- Correct minor operating problems and perform other related duties as required.
