Role Overview

The Quarantine Technician is responsible for the welfare of livestock within the in-house quarantine facility. This role includes the maintenance and upkeep of all aquarium systems and the consistent application of best-practice husbandry protocols to ensure the smooth and safe movement of livestock through the quarantine process.

A strong understanding of biosecure protocols is essential, along with hands‑on expertise in aquatic husbandry and the ability to identify potential aquatic illnesses. The role plays a key part in maintaining livestock health, system integrity, and overall quarantine standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining all quarantine holding tanks, making sure the water parameters are ideal for the relevant livestock
