Our client, an employee-owned, multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, is seeking an Archaeologist to join their growing Ecology and Environmental Impact Assessment Department in their Winnipeg office. Key Responsibilities

• Acting as a permit holder, as recognized by the provincial regulator
• Supervise the completion of Heritage Resource Impact Assessments in Manitoba
• Conduct basic archaeological fieldwork tasks (pedestrian survey, test pitting, documentation, artifact analysis, report preparation)
• Supervise small crews of 2-6 people as they carry out archaeological fieldwork tasks and ensure their quality of work meets the methods and ethics set out in provincial regulations
