About the role
BDA is seeking an Armament and Life Support Engineering Team Lead to join the P-8A Poseidon team at RAAF Base Edinburgh. In this role, you will apply sound engineering principles and strong decision-making to lead teams responsible for the design, maintenance, and repair of weapon systems for the Australian Defence Force.
Responsibilities:
As an Armament and Life Support Team Lead within BDA, you will
* Lead, mento, and task engineering personnel in maintenance, troubleshooting, and design.
* Monitor and manage the Armament and Life Support systems to ensure aircraft are safe and reliable throughout their service life.
* Implement and continuously improve procedures for data collection, assessment, and reporting.
* Ensure all work complies with strict regulatory requirements, particularly for explosive ordnance and emergency systems.
