Overview

As a member of the military, Armour Soldiers operate and maintain armoured fighting vehicles, their weapon systems and communication equipment. They are part of the Combat Arms team, which also includes Infantry, Artillery and Combat Engineering regiments.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain the AFV
• Fire the AFV’s main gun
• Load the AFV’s main gun and machineguns
• Operate surveillance equipment
• Maintain the communications equipment
• Gather and relay information about the enemy and the terrain
• Destroy enemy targets with direct fire

Armour Soldiers experience the unique adventures and challenges that come with working in the field and on deployments to other countries.
