Komatsu South Africa is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic Artisan to join our dynamic team in Namakwasands. The role requires at least 3 years of post‑trade experience on heavy earthmoving equipment within the mining or related industry and a relevant Heavy Equipment Mechanic Trade certificate.

Key Responsibilities

• Remain up to date with health and safety procedures and conduct hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Implement the Komatsu Way 5S program (sorting, organizing, cleaning, ordering, and training).
• Adhere to SHE policies and procedures and participate in workplace safety events.
• Operate trucks, cars, and forklifts safely within established standards, even when not directly supervised.
• Report hazardous situations, incidents, accidents, vehicle usage, and equipment incidents promptly.
