Position Overview
Summary/Objective
The Assembly Traub Operator Labor Grade 9, must be able to run and or set-up a minimum of three Traubs at 463 pieces per hour. They must be able to complete a set-up a Traub in fifteen minutes max. This includes total change over if needed. The definition of a set-up is when an operator is first setting up a Traub for production run. The Traub needs to have all rails, feeding systems, and bowl adjusted for production run. This means that the set-up is complete. All other movements are considered adjustments. This means that the Traub operator is free to run other machines as required by the employee’s leader, and or Management. A Traub operator must be able to use a comparator and torque tester. This position requires that the operator input measurements into the SPC system, and that they fill out a production log either electronically or manually on paper.
