Position Overview

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This staff shall assist the Business Office Executive and officer in performing the functions of Admission Clerk. To timely register for any Inpatient (IP) / Daycare patient (DC) with the latest personal information, collection of deposit or govern with a valid Initial Guarantee Letter (IGL) in all systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible to timely register any IP/DC patient at all systems. The duties include:

  • Update patient/guardian current information for each episode in the system.
  • Photocopy NRIC and other documents for record. All documents are complete and submitted for record purposes.
  • Ensure patient/guardian are duly understood on the admission documents and other paperwork before signing.
  • Adhere to PDPA.
  • For elective cash paying cases, ensure full payment of deposit. For billing patients, ensure governance with a valid initial guarantee letter.
