The Assistant Athletic Trainer will assist in the overall injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, short-term and long­term rehabilitation, education and sport injury counseling, and athletics-related health care administration of Alfred University student-athletes in consultation with and under the supervision of the Team Physician(s), Head Athletic Trainer, Director of Athletics & Recreation, and other qualified medical personnel. 

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will be assigned to primary and secondary sports. 

Salary: $50,918-$53,850, 10-Month Position

Essential Functions:
Injury prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation:

+ Provide daily injury prevention, on-site evaluation and treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athletes as directed by the Head Athletic Trainer and Team Physician(s).

+ Consult with the Team Physician(s) for guidance on the treatment of injured student-athletes.
