Conduct routine chemical tests according to standard operating procedures, including but not limited to sample weighing, and performing extraction/ digestion, column cleanup, rotary evaporation etc.
Assist sample cutting and result reporting.
Operate the analytical instruments (e.g. GC/MS, ICP-MS, HPLC etc).
Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration.
Record and maintain the test data in the required format accurately.
Handle chemicals, solvents, acids, and reagents safety.
Qualifications
Higher Diploma or above in Chemistry related subjects, e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Analytical Science.
Familiar with ISO 17025 quality system and accreditation requirements will be a plus.
Good communication skills;
Able to operate the test instrument, e.g., GC/MS, HPLC, ICP-MS, will be an advantage.
