Description The Assistant Controller will perform a variety of accounting functions supporting the Controller, Sr. VP of Finance, and the Accounting Department as a whole. These duties require a considerable level of professional judgment and analytical ability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist in producing accurate and timely financial statements in a multi-company environment.
Assist in the month end closing and financial reporting process including maintaining the monthly closing calendar, account analysis and reconciliation.
Monitor balance sheet review, account reconciliations and variances between current year and prior year results.
Provide recommendations for proper accounting methods, policies and principles in accordance with GAAP.
Supervise members of the accounting team.
Provide guidance and leadership to the accounting team to promote career development.
