Senior Assistant Controller

The Senior Assistant Controller plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates the operations of the accounting department. They develop and implement the company’s financial procedures and systems and establish an integrated and efficient system to reduce the risk of errors and ensure effective control over the company’s activities and transactions.

Work Location: Val-d’Or or Laval. Schedule: 5‑2.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze accounting records, general ledger, financial statements, and other accounting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare or coordinate the preparation of financial statements, profitability reports, and management analyses.
• Determine cost of goods sold and analyze variances between objectives and actual results.
