Job Description
The Assistant Cook works closely with the Head Chef to prepare, cook, and serve safe, nutritious, and well-presented meals for the pupils and staff of our School. This is a hands-on kitchen role that covers food preparation, cooking, serving, and cleaning, and it requires someone who can take direction well while also using good judgement when the kitchen gets busy. Because the role involves feeding young children every single day, the school needs a person who treats hygiene and food safety as second nature, not as an afterthought. Above all, this is a role for someone mature, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a small, tight-knit team.
