(What the role is) The Media Capability Development Division conceptualises and implements strategies that ensures Singapore's Media Industry remain competitive, able to respond to evolving media landscape, produce content that meets global audience preferences and grow in commercial viability and profitability. This can be achieved by uplifting the competencies of key production roles such as Creative Producers, Scriptwriters and Directors and through adoption of emerging technologies, such as Virtual Production and Generative AI. This role will support IMDA's mission as the Architect of Singapore's Digital Future.
