Position Overview

Summary Assistant Grocery Department Managers plan, direct, and supervise work in the grocery department of a commissary. This may include a small warehouse or repositioning area, a separate receiving area, and/or contract shelf stocking. Assistant Grocery Department Managers exercise tact and diplomacy when interacting with commissary patrons, vendors, and/or brokers.
