An expansive private game reserve in the Kalahari region of the Northern Cape is looking for an ASSISTANT HEAD GUIDE

The Assistant Head Guide supports the Head Guide in managing the guiding department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining guiding standards, and assisting with training, safety, and operational coordination on the reserve.

Core Criteria:

• Relevant guiding qualification (FGASA or equivalent), valid PrDP and driver's license


• Previous experience as a Senior Field Guide or in a similar leadership role


• First Aid certification and rifle competency where required


• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills


• Excellent knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and reserve operations


• Professional, guest-focused, and safety-conscious


• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
