To assist the Manager Internal Audit in conducting financial, operational, compliance, and system audits to ensure effective internal controls, regulatory compliance, proper utilization of funds, and adherence to the Institute's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the approved annual internal audit plan.
• Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and special audits under the supervision of the Manager Internal Audit.
• Review accounting records, financial transactions, supporting documents, and internal controls.
• Review procurement, payments, payroll, fixed assets, inventory, and other operational processes.
• Verify compliance with the Institute's policies, SOPs, HEC regulations, applicable laws.
• Perform audit testing and prepare complete working papers in accordance with audit standards.
