About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the People & Culture department, the Assistant People & Culture Manager is responsible for managing the full colleague onboarding lifecycle and core People & Culture administrative processes. Assistant People & Culture Manager reports to the People & Culture Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a professional and engaging onboarding experience, managing the full lifecycle from offer acceptance to completion and acting as the main contact for new joiners.
  • Handle all onboarding administration, documentation, employee records, and system updates in Workday, ensuring accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate logistics such as visas, work permits, Emirates ID, travel arrangements, and onboarding-related requisitions while aligning with company policies and cost efficiency.
