The Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies, Lakehead University invites applications for an NSERC Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Quantum Technologies. The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, starting January 1 , 2027, and will be nominated for a five‑year Tier 2 CRC with one renewal, subject to Tri‑Agency approval.

Responsibilities

• Lead a world‑class research program in quantum technologies, including quantum materials, quantum sensing, or related areas.
