**Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist – Job Duties**

The following outlines the professional responsibilities for an outpatient-only cardiologist within the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). **Clinical Care**

· Provide both inpatient and outpatient care for patients with advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathies, mechanical circulatory support devices, and those undergoing heart transplantation.
