*ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:*
This is a faculty position responsible to the Chairman, Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation and Integrative Medicine, Division of Cancer Medicine.
*GENERAL DUTIES:*
Provides clinical and research expertise in patient care in Palliative Care, and an appropriate teaching environment for fellows, residents, observers, visitors, and students of cancer medicine.
*CHARACTERISTICS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
I. Clinical - 80%
1. Practice clinical medicine in an exemplary manner in standards set forth by the Texas State Board of Examiners and the American Medical Association, properly balanced with other academic activities.
2. Develop and maintain a service for patients referred to the UT M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.
