About the Role

The School of Textiles and Design on the Dubai campus seeks enthusiastic academics with experience in teaching and scholarship. Candidates will be expected to build research, showcase innovative teaching pedagogies, develop strong links with colleagues in Scottish campuses, contribute to programme development, and engage external stakeholders.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Undertake teaching and assessment duties on academic programmes, supporting delivery across HWM campuses.
• Develop relevant materials, contribute to curriculum design, review teaching design and delivery, support accreditation processes.
• Mentor and supervise students, including PhD students, providing formative and summative feedback and pastoral support.
