Teach undergraduate and/or graduate accounting courses, advise and mentor students, develop curriculum, and actively engage in scholarly research. Maintain professional knowledge, contribute to service activities in the department and college, and participate in ongoing professional development. Requires a doctorate (or master’s for certain positions), demonstrated teaching ability, research record, and strong communication skills. Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.

Work Performed:

In a faculty position in accounting, the primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate accounting courses, developing and updating course materials, advising and mentoring students, and assessing student learning.
