Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream – Analytical Chemistry

Position description: Full-time, three‑year contractually limited term appointment (CLTA) teaching stream in the area of Analytical Chemistry. Appointment rank: Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream. Start date: January 1, 2027. Location: Faculty of Arts & Science, Department of Chemistry, St. George (Downtown Toronto).

Responsibilities

• Teach and coordinate undergraduate analytical chemistry courses, including lectures and laboratory components.
• Develop and renew course and curriculum materials, including lecture and laboratory content.
• Supervise teaching assistants and coordinate laboratory sessions (asset).

Requirements and Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or related area by the time of appointment.
