**Description**:
- Reports To- SAFETY OFFICER
- Background- An Assistant Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the Management system and associated COPs are implemented effectively. They will assist the Safety Officer to ensure all daily operational and maintenance activities are carried out according to Management System requirements.
- Authority- The Assistant Safety Officer acts under the authority of the Safety Officer and has the authority to stop or question any unsafe act by following procedures and direct positive action as described by STOP.
- Immediate Subordinates- Visitors, Sub Contractors, Vendors and similar.
