Assistant Superintendent of Professional Learning

Overview

The Winnipeg School Division (WSD) is the largest and most diverse school division in Manitoba, committed to equity, diversity, truth and reconciliation, and providing high‑quality education for all students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support for improving practice and adult impact on learners across the Division.
• Collaborate with the Superintendents’ Team and schools to respond to the needs of staff, learners, and families.
• Administer the professional development fund of WSD while coordinating external research.

Requirements

• Permanent Manitoba Teaching Certificate.
• Master of Education (M.Ed.).
• Minimum seven (7) years experience in a leadership capacity with curriculum, instruction and assessment across instructional levels.
