Main duties of the job You will form part of the supportive therapy team, working at Kingfisher Court or Albany Lodge to provide the OT service alongside a multidisciplinary team including arts therapists, physio, horticultural therapists, psychology.
You will be supported by experienced Occupational Therapists and the rest of the team to carry out specific individual work and facilitate a range of activity group interventions.
You will need to be able to work independently with Service Users to support them in developing and expanding their roles and routines. Experience of running groups would be advantageous.
Regular training opportunities will be available to build your skills in these areas and we encourage people to apply for the Occupational Therapy apprenticeship which is run at the university of Hertfordshire.
You will be part of a large and well established OT service and also link regularly with peers and other OT staff across the trust.
