Major/Essential Functions
Provide contracting legal support to Texas Tech University System and components, including, but not limited to, real estate transactions, healthcare transactions, construction and design agreements, and other academic or higher education transactions, such as IT software and licensing agreements, purchasing and services agreements, international transactions (e.g., study abroad), public-private partnership agreements, research-related contracts and grants, and athletics transactions, including game guarantee contracts and media/marketing/apparel rights.Provide legal advice on a variety of issues including, but not limited to, matters concerning the rights, obligations, and privileges of institutions of higher education, and federal and state regulatory matters.Advise officials, faculty or staff of Texas Tech University System and components.Review and interpret laws, regulations, proposed legislative bills, a...
