JOB SUMMARY: The Associate Scientist II is responsible for leading material preparation, testing, process development, and characterization related to product development and assisting the supervisor in material design, test methodology, and modification of formulation related to product development in a manner that is consistent with proper testing and laboratory procedures targeted towards product development.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

+ Lead material preparation, testing, and characterization while reporting directly to the supervisor

+ Utilize chemistry, metallurgy, and relevant knowledge in a laboratory environment while assisting the supervisor

+ Design and implement DOEs for targeted upgraded performance with assistance from the supervisor, including modifying formulation, material processing, etc.
