Desired Candidate Profile

Essential Candidate Profile:
- Solid Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics management Experience
- UN/NGO Experience
- Training in public Procurement courses (including CIPS - e.g. CFIPS, CMIPS, MCIPS)

Desirable Profile:
- Supervisor/Managerial Experience (experience in staff management and supervision of Supply / Procurement / Logistics staff)
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to deal with persons of different cultural and educational backgrounds.
- Technical knowledge of types of services, and goods purchased by UNHCR by Headquarters, Regional and Field Offices.
- Proven ability to collaborate with partners, suppliers and local authorities as well as other UN sister agencies.
- Previous work experience in a similarly high-level local position.
