Position Overview
The Associate Systems Engineer supports the Systems team by serving as the primary first line of contact for end-user IT support, while also contributing to day-to-day IT operations and selected infrastructure tasks. The role is responsible for helpdesk resolution, IT asset management, and assisting with routine infrastructure work such as VM provisioning and compliance/audit documentation.
1) Helpdesk and End-User Support: Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and general computer-related issues for staff, managing tickets from initiation to closure. 2) IT Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, warranties, and maintenance schedules. Assist in procurement coordination and disposal. 3) Infrastructure Maintenance: Support installation and upkeep of IT hardware and peripherals including desktops, printers, and IP telephony systems. 4) VM Provisioning Suppo...
