Position Summary/Description:
This position is a primary staff position in Orthopaedics- Sports Medicine. The Athletic Trainer is expected to assist with providing athletic training services for all students but will primarily work with campus recreation and provide coverage and care to club sports. This position will be responsible for assessment of injuries and proper treatment and referral. This position will also work with the head athletic trainer for sport clubs and campus recreation on deciding on field coverage for high-risk sports.

The Athletic Trainer will need to be trained in emergency care and be able to respond and make decisions following emergency action plans.
