Responsibilities
- 3.2 Respond quickly to patient’s request for assistance.
- 3.3 Assist with patient’s elimination, mobility, and physical comfort, eating and drinking needs while observing and reporting any specific changes to the staff nurse.
- 3.4 Assist the nursing staff in bed making, sponge bathing, and other hygienic activity of the patient.
- 3.5 Responsible for segregation of soiled linen as per infection control guidelines under the supervision of nursing personnel.
- 3.6 Assist in the maintenance of cleanliness in all areas including patient’s room within the unit.
- 3.7 Assist in the maintenance of supply and storage areas.
