We are looking for a Trust and Estates Associate to join a midsize law firm in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will bring 1-5 years of expertise in trust and estates law, with a strong background in estate planning, administration, and tax preparation. This role requires an individual who is organized, attentive to detail, proactive, and capable of both leading and collaborating effectively.


Responsibilities:

• Handle estate planning and administration tasks, including drafting legal documents, asset protection strategies, and wealth transfer techniques.

• Prepare estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and manage probate administration processes.

• Administer high-value trusts, including foreign trusts and complex estate planning matters.

• Provide guidance on fiduciary tax matters and oversee compliance with relevant regulations.
