We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with strong expertise in Xero , Australian tax law , and BAS compliance . This role will focus on reconciling, correcting, and stabilising financial records within Xero.
Key Responsibilities
- Full reconciliation of transactions
- Identify and correct data inconsistencies and errors
- Ensure accurate transaction categorisation and reporting
- Maintain integrity of financial records in Xero
Australian Compliance & Tax Support
- BAS preparation and reporting support
- GST reconciliation and compliance
- Ensure adherence to Australian tax laws and regulations
- Monthly reconciliations
- BAS lodgement support
- Financial reporting and accuracy checks
- Ongoing system maintenance and record accuracy
Required Skills & Experience
