The Audit Assistant supports the audit team in examining financial records, ensuring accuracy, and verifying compliance with the company policies, standards and procedure. The role aims to ensure that financial documents are accurate, improve internal control, and compliance on the company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Examine financial records, reports, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance
- Participate in inventory counts and physical asset verification.
- Checking and monitoring various sales documents (i.e. sales returns transactions, commitment slips etc.)
- Assist in the preparation and execution of internal audits
- Communicate findings or issues to senior auditors or supervisors.
- Checking various financial documents such as liquidation reports for various projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data and sensitive information.
