You should have a general practice background with good technical skills at least in the areas of auditing and accounts preparation. Your audit experience should be recent and up to date.

You will be working with a wide diversity of business entities, mainly limited companies, across a range of sectors. You will be involved mainly in the preparation of statutory annual accounts and audit where appropriate plus related compliance work such as Corporation Tax Returns and company secretarial matters. In addition you will have the opportunity to undertake ad-hoc assignments of a specialist nature as the opportunity arises.

You will report on each assignment either to a manager or a director. We have a team of accounts/audit staff available to assist on assignments. Wherever possible we encourage the delegation of work to provide valuable practical training for junior colleagues.
